But I have lost 7 lbs so far at 172 lb. What now :)
What i've learned so far is not to take so much away at first like I had thought would've been best. I'm allowed a glass of wine every once in a while, I'm allowed a treat if I've been doing well. The biggest thing I've learned so far is really on how to eat better and to be more active. I don't need to feel full anymore and because of this, i feel less bloated and I have more energy.
So I'm going to keep on trucking and keeping my head high with my goal of being healthy and comfortable in my own skin again.
If not for me..for this:

I know a few of your are also trying to get in shape so how have you been doing? What's your total weight lost and what have you learned so far?

do it! :)
ReplyDeleteI've lost 12 lbs so far! I started by running, doing elliptical, and lifting but now I started the insanity workouts on monday and am excited for the challenge. I found the same as you that I have to let things go slowly. I allow myself to eat what I want but in a good portion. I also found that having a non-food related reward really helped me get in the gym! Good luck on your weightloss Bonnie and know that we are here if you need encouragement!
ReplyDeleteGood for you :) I'm doing ok so far...I've lost 4 pounds in three weeks. Not very much! I'm right there with you though Bonnie!
ReplyDeleteGood job Bonnie!!! Keep it up!
ReplyDeleteHave you tried the Tone it Up and Self Magazine drop 10 challenge? I started the carry around exercise cards and they are super hard!

ReplyDeleteHello Bonnie!
ReplyDeleteI am so happy for you :)! I've been a YouTube fan of yours for years and honestly I think you are gorgeous no matter what weight you are. I commend you for being strong and dealing with trolls in such a mature manner.
I too gained weight in college. In high school, I was extremely athletic and healthy. After coming to college, I stopped playing sports, became too tired to work out, messed up my sleep schedule, and ate unhealthy food because I didn't have the money or time to cook. I started noticing the weight gain but ignored it since I was in a relationship and didn't care what others thought of me. After a horrific break up, I put on an extra 15 pounds. I have been recently trying to shed the weight by first reducing my sugar intake. I drink almost 8 cups of water now instead of drinking soda, iced coffee, and energy drinks. I've been noticing changes in my body and it's amazing!! Not only am I losing weight, but my skin is getting clearer, and I have more energy. I am still trying to think of a solid work out routine, but I still need to do more research since I have very little knowledge of using weights and cardio machines.
Do you have any work out tips or specific work out routines that you do?
